Show Fsbmmy , 17S Mr. and Mrs. Myron Aecutoroop Sot Up Houookooplng In Provo A wedding reception Jan. 4 at the Ran-dleLDS Indian branch honored Mr, and Mrs. Myron Aecutoroop who were married Jan. 2 in the Salt Lake City tt lH temple. The bride is the former Miss Selena Bergii. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bergii of Burley. Idaho. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Wesley of Randlett For her reception Mrs. Aecutoroop wore a white satin gown with an empire bodice accented with scalloped laee. The foil sleeves tapered at the elbow and matching bee edged the fitted cuff. lace flowers op Mr. and Mrs. F Secaknkn. She is the trimmed her Juliet cap which held a long veil of illusion. Her sister attended her as maid of honor and sisters of the bridegroom. Karen and Chris Aecutoroop were bridesmaids along with Merelynn Groves. The designed their gowns with blue bodices and floral print skirts in Dennis Aecutoroop was his brothel's floor-lengt- best man. The bride fa a graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in accounting. Myron is a senior at BYU majoring in recreation. They are at home in Provo. Sandy Pike. Sandy PlkoExchangos Woddlng Vows with ForronSocakuku Min Sandy Pike became the bride of Ferron Secakuku when wedding vows were exchanged Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Whiterocka home of the bride' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Pike. Bishop Earl Allred performed the ceremony before a backdrop of silver and pedestal vases of tinted lavender, and white carnations and mums ipicting the brides color scheme. For her winter wedding. Miss Pike selected a gown of white organdy over satin. A ruffled insert of accordian pleated organdy edged with lavender floral lace. Lavender laee flowers also encircled the waistline of the gown as well as the double ruffle of pleated organdy at the hemline of the gathered skirt Her bridal veu of illusion was attached to a Juliett cap edged with floral lavender lace. The veu was trimmed with white lace and flowed into a train. chapel-lengtShe carried a cascade of carnations in turquoise and white entwined with babys to the bouquets of her tenth entourage led by her cousin. Miss Gayla Hoopes, as maid of honor. Miss Hoopes' turquoise and lavender floral print gown of silk organza was styled with a ruffled yoke and long sleeves. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Clifford of the bride; Eras and Pike, sister-in-laof the bridegroom; cousins Chris LaRose, and Darla Pike, junior bridesmaid, sister of the bride.. Their gowns, similar to the mil of honor's, were of lavender silk organza with turquoise lace edging the ruffled yoke, and skirt. Wearing a short, floral dress of silk organza for her part as flower girl was little Natalie Atwood, cousin of the bridegroom. She carried a basket of turquoise and white petals. Attending the groom as best man was his cousin, Cornell Murdock. Ferron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Homey Secakuku, Fort' Duchesne, and his best man wore white dinner jackets with black trousers. Joella Anderton, cousin of tiie bride, registered guests while Jackie tur-joui- se foil-lengt- h h full-leng-th w full-leng- th Anderton, another cousin, and Connie a college rommate of the bride, presided at the gift table. Mrs. Pike baked and decorated the three-tiere- d cake which depicted the bridal color scheme and centered the refreshment table. Assisting with the serving were Lena Duncan, Amy Cesspooch and Leanna Arrowchis. Highlight of the program was a happy birthday chorus in honor of Mr. Pike who marked his birthday on his daughters wedding day. Musical numbers were presented by Toni, Paula, Gayla and Mvbne Hoopes as a vocal quartet Lela Anderton and Lynette Hoopes, also cousins, sang solos as did Dorothy Luck. Vicki Brother-so- n concluded the program with a dance routine. Music for dancing was provided by the Tex Ross Orchestra of VernaL n guests included aunts and uncles of the bride: Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderton, Dugway; Mr. and Mrs. Petro Farabis, Salt Lake City; and cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Arden Bendixon, Salt Lake City; and Mr. and Mrs. Danny Anderton, Dug way. Also relatives of the bride attending from Towaoc, Colo., were Mrs. Ethel Mill. Lorna Lopes and Marion WalL Also here to attend the wedding of her nephew was Miss Josephine Secakuku of Torrance, Calif. On leave from the U.S. Navy for the occasion was the bridegrooms brother, Larry Cesspooch who is stationed in Honolulu. The new Mrs. Secakuku is a 1972 graduate of Union High School. She also attended Ricks College in Rexburg;, Idaho. Ferron was graduated from Union High School and completed a tour of duty with the UJS. Army which took him to Vietnam and Cambodia. Ute Coed Appears on TV In Boston Annette Parriette flew Sunday from Salt Lake City to Boston, Mass., where she will make TV and radio appearances plugging the American Indian Fund. The trip is sponsored by the Golden Indian Bread Company of Denver, Colorado. She will be accompanied by Wilma Bullshield, a Sioux Indian from South Dakota. Annette has previously done promotion work for this company via TV, radio and the press in the Salt Lake City area. The Ute coed is a junior at Westminster College in Salt Lake City. During Westminsters interium period she has been affiliated with the University of Utah student social workers with headquarters at Fort Duchesne as part of her training in the Indian Social Work Career Program through the University of Utah. h.
