Council mem- ber representatives are Albert and Ray Kingston. Commissioner Glen Greener and planning department staff member Mark Hafey are also on the committee. Sadler, contacted by the Enterprise last week before city officials had told him of the appointment, indicated he would like to confer with those he represents before accepting the appointment. He also Funk said he hoped city officials would consider appointing a property owner to the committee. Sadler wouldn't identify his clients, but said there were a large number of them, some of whom reside in the area, others who dont but own property there and owners of businesses along 13th East. He said he didnt even know who all of them were. Sadler said he became involved in the controversy because he owned property in the moratorium area and other property owners, concerned about the procedure being followed by the city, came to him for advice. Funk, Kingston, and Clyde all indicated they would accept the appointments last week. Firms contest revocation Representatives of R. P. Sawyer Construction Co. and D.S. Nielson and Associates, an accounting firm, will go before the Board of Adjustment next month in an attempt to resolve questions as to whether the two firms are operating offices which are not allowed in a residential R-- 5 zone. of the controlling documents for the condominium project at the mouth of Emigration Canyon. He said the companies are contesting the charge they are violating zoning regulations. One of several possible results is that the companies could lose their business licenses. Frank Sawyer, R.D. Sawyer explained his company office is located in the Canyon Crest Apartments. Although he emphasized he couldnt speak for city officials Sawyer said he didnt believe the problem is a serious one and that it could be resolved next month. Theirgartner, said the Army will use the systems for air traffic control activity at Army bases around the world. Theirgartner added the Army has included an option in the contract which could approximately double the size of the contract. Deliveries of the systems will begin in May, 1978.
