(OTC 3.75, 4.50) announced the purchase of the assets of Adwar Jewelry Co. Inc., 71 Fifth Ave., New York City, for an undisclosed amount of cash. Wasko said Adwar makes antique jewelry reproductions and modernistic jewelry. A spokesman for Wasko said the acquisition substantially increases the com pany's sales force and solves its immediate problem of securing additional production facilities. The firm had been considering moving its production operation to larger quarter outside New York City, he said. Adwars facilities will approximately double the capacity of the manufacturing capabilities of Waskos operating division, the spokesman said. Reduced Drilling Lowers Earnings for Christensen Inc. Besides the reduced pet- roleum revenues, Christensen said mining sales suffered due to depressed worldwide metals prices.
