Team members who participated were 1LT Paul Basan, 1LT Gary Murphy, SGM Gerald Seifer and SP4 Gordon Spellman. THE LOCAL pistolmen placed in all three classes of weapons in the tourney. Dugway marks-- ! men finished second in both the SADDLE ' .38 and competitions and placed third in the division. The local men fired in the sharpshooter division of the tournament. Other divisions were marksman and expert. The pistol tournament was held at the San Diego Police Revolver Range. About 15 civi-- 1 ban and military teams, including one from Sixth Army, were entered in the event. The local team fired a 2700 match in precision and timed firing.
