Show 8 - THE CITIZEN THURSDAY, DEC 2, 1977 Blacksmith DUP holds Richmond Lions annual Christmas social Blacksmith Fort Chapter Sons of Utah Pioneers held their Christmas party Thursday evening with President Sylvester Anderson conducting. There was one new life membership, Mrs. Margaret Iarsen gave her husband Carl Larsen, for Christmas. Fourteen outstanding service awards was made, James Allen, Bruce Allen, Dr. Theris Astle, Harvey Leland Cottle, Allred, Lorenzo Hansen, Joseph Haslem, Delno Hunsaker, O.W. Hyde, C.L. Jenkins, Seymor Jessop, William host women President of the Richmond Lions Club, Reed Woodland, conducted the meeting and Christmas party "Ladies Night," Wednesday evening. A roast beef dinner with all the trimmings was served. It was prepared by Lima Smith and her aids. Awards for attendance were given for 100 percent for They received pins. For the program Brenda Larsen and her mother, Colleen James played the marimba and piano, playing Christmas music. Eva Godfrey was a special guest. Her husband was the first president of the Richmond Lions and was district governor of Utah. Cutter racing TOPS now underway Cache Valley Cutter rac- ing action continues day at Anita 1 p.m. Satur- at Little Santa Race track in Linrose. On Dec. 31, the association will send its teams to Brig- ham City and a four-wa- y meet against Smithfield, Tremonton and Brigham City. Starting time will be about noon. On Jan. 7 the association will start its colt futurity races.
