It is not so overly rich. 1 8 os. package cream cheese 1 c. cottage cheese, small curd 1 can cherry pie filling 1 pkg. dream whip 1 c. powdered sugar Whip cream and set aside. Whip cream cheese and cottage cheese together. Add powdered sugar and whip A dear friend until fluffy. Fold in dream whip. Pour into a graham cracker crust Put cherries on top. Refrigerate for 2 or 3 hours or more and serve with whipped cream on top. This recipe will make two fair sized pies. Energy conservation begins in my home ... because I pay a gas bill, too. Cream together by hand the sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla and lemon (add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition). Add sifted ingredients to creamed mixture, alternating with the apples. Beat well. Add nuts. (I like to add 4 c. or more of wheat germ).. Bake in loaf tins at 325 degrees until lightly browned, about 40 minutes. Wrap bread in foil as soon as cool and it will keep in the freezer very well. I think this is one of the best breads I have tasted. (If apples are not juicy and batter is not right consistency, I add a little buttermilk or sour milk to mixture to get right consistency.) .
