Gayle Morgan, Hyrum, are pleased to announce the engagemru and marriage of their daughter Valerie to Larry Lee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theron Glen Roskelley, Smithfield, on Saturday. An open house will be given in their honor on Friday at the Hyrum Civic Center, 90 West Main, Hyrum, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Valerie graduated from Sky View High School and Seminary in 1973. She is presently employed at Wurlitzer. Larry graduated from Sky View High School in 1972, and is employed at E.A. Miller Packing Co. After their honeymoon, they will make their home in Logan. SANDY LARSEN AND TERRY L. BINGHAM Mr. and Mrs. Kent I. Larsen, Hyrum, are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Sandy to Terry L. Bingham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sharon Y. Bingham, Amalga. The marriage will be solemnized Friday in the Ogden LDS Temple. A reception will be held that evening in the Hyrum 2nd-4t- h Ward cultural hall, 450 East 1st South. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Sandy is a 1975 graduate of Sky View High School and four year Seminary. She attended Ricks College for one year and at present is employed at The House of Sound in Logan. Terry is a 1973 graduate of Sky View High School. He attended Utah Technical College in Salt Lake City for one year and served a mission for the LDS Church in the Georgia Atlanta Mission. Currently he is employed by Clair Murray Construction. After their honeymoon they will make their home in Logan. TRENTON Funeral services for B. Josephine Hub-be-ll LaPray, 86, were held Thursday, July 7 in the Trenton ward under the direction of Bishop Glade Grif-feMrs. LaPray died Monday, July 4 in the Logan hospital after a short illness. She was born Dec. 1, 1890 in Goodland, Kansas, a daughter of Robert Tyler and Eliza Gough Hubbell. On June 6, 1917 she married Samuel LaPray in Pocatpllo, Ida. This marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. LaPray died n. Feb. 2, 1932. Mrs. LaPray received her education in Kansas schools and received her teaching certificate from Kansas State Agricultural College. She taught school in Dispatch and Salem, Kans., and for many years in Weston, Ida. A member of the Trenton LDS ward, she had been a counselor in the Primary and president of the YWMIA. She had been a Sunday School teacher and taught the cultural refinement lesson in Relief Society for 50 years. From 1948 to 1949 she served a mission to the Eastern States. She was a member of the Trenton Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: David S., Salt Lake City; Robert H.. Buhl, Ida.; Glen, Logan; Jay G., Longview, Wash.; Lyle E., Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Max (Pearl) Clark, Garkston; 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Tom (Jes-sie- ) Baker, Fort Dodge, Neilson Sept. 24, 1930, in the Logan LDS temple. He was a High Priest in the Lewiston Second Ward and has been in many ward and stake positions. He has been announcer of the Lewiston Fourth of July parade for 20 years. He is survived by his wife; a smi and daughter, Ronald 'Buttars of Lewiston and Mrs. Kimber (Marlene) Christensen of Preston; eight grandchildren. one brothers and sisters, Elms Josephson, Salt Lake Gty; Vade Smith, Ocean-sid- e, Calif.; Omer Buttars, Ogden; Ted Buttars, Beaverton, Ore.; Sherwin Buttars, Sandy, Utah; Holland Buttars, Preston. Funeral services will be held Friday at 12:00 in the great-grandchil- Lewiston Ward Chapel. The marriage will be solemnized Thursday in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will be held that evening from 7:30 to 9:30 in the Smithfield Stake Center, 600 East 120 South. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Marilyn is a 1975 graduate of Sky View High School and LDS Seminary. She has attended Utah State University and Brigham Young University Hawaii. Presently she is employed with First Security Bank. Jerry is a 1971 graduate of Sky View High School and LDS Seminary. He fulfilled an LDS mission to the Australia Melbourne Mission. Jerry is a 1977 graduate of Utah State University, receiving a B.S. degree from the College of Business in Finance. He also graduated from Logan LDS Institute. Presently he is working for Walker Bank. After their honeymoon, Jerry and Marilyn will make their home in Salt LAke City. Lucius William McCann, 89, died Wednesday night at Sunshine Terrace. He was bom July 26, 1887, in Smithfield, a son of Joseph Nephi and Ellen Cantwell McCann. He married LaVon Smith Feb. 19, 1908, in the Logan LDS Temple. She died Sept. 11. 1968. Mr. McCann was active in the LDS Church, having served in various auxiliaries on ward and stake levels, being especially active in drama productions. He had been High Priest group leader in Smithfield 4th Ward, and at the time of his death was a member of Smithfield 7th Ward. Also, Mr, McCann was active in the Cache County Republican Party. By occupation, he was a farmer during his entire lifetime. The last survivor in a family of 12, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jenna three Funeral services were Jack's pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Nancy to Roger Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hansen, Smithfield.
