The Richmond Club Rooms were decorated in the Christmas theme, where the Richmond Ladies Literary Club held their Christmas party Thursday. Dinner was cooked and served by Lona Smith, Hazel Funk, Dora Hendricks and Edna Egan. The group sang Christmas carols and a Christmas How Santa Saved story, Christmas," was given by Blanch Allred. Eifie Egan sang two songs, Christmas Dawn" and Merry Christmas Folks." Gifts were exchanged. President, Rhoda Anderson, conducted. A program was presented with Belinda Howard playing the guitar and singing a vocal solo, Verla Summers gave a Christmas story and Mary Ellen Jones and Andrea Benson sang a vocal duet and accompanied themselves on guitars. The presidency oonsists ofPeggy Salisbury, Doris Benson. Joy Larsen, Cora Cooley and Marlene Larsen. Friday evening the Newton High Priest Quorum held a banquet in honor of the High Priests and their wives and the widows of the Newton Ward. The presidency and committee members who arranged, planned and prepared this special evening were Donna and Lyle Cooley, Brooks and Leona Roundy, Grant and Peggy Salisbury, and assisting were Edries and Sid Hansen. Tables were decorated by Eunice Cooley, Joy Jones and Veneal Jenkins. 732-468- 1. Friday, Dec. 12, there will be a variety program of the students production from L'SU. A special treat, Ruty Eyea, and her little program of little people of whom none are over four years of age, will participate. Dec. 19 will be the Christmas program. Christmas tours of the lights in Ogden will be Dec. 17, 22 and 30.
