Show t 2 THE CITIZEN I I THUISDM, JUNE 5, 1975 BLM OBITUARIES She was born Feb. 16, 1887, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Andrew Wood and Rachel Ester Waldvogel Funeral services for Esther Kelsey Waldvogel, 88, were conducted Saturday noon in the Nelson Funeral chapel in Logan. Mrs. Waldvogel died May 22 in Santa Marie, Calif. She was born Dec. 4, 1886, in Smithfield, a daughter of Walter Hanry and Jannet Owens Kelsey. She was a member of the LDS Church, having served as Relief Society president and visiting teacher, and as Sunday School secretary. Surviving are a son, D.E. Waldvogel, St. Ignatius, Mont.; eight grandchildren; 29 a. sister, Lois Hurst, Idaho Falls. Interment was in the Smithfield Cemetery. ' Frances Scouts Hold Progressive Supper Rigby Mrs. Frances Ann Cooley Rigby, 88, died Tuesday in the Logan hospital following surgery, lb Cooley. She married Samuel M. Rigby Dec. 15, 1909, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Coon by Alice S. Cardon The Cub Scouts and their leaders enjoyed an evening of activity on Friday of last week. All the boys met at the home of Webelos leader, Alice Cardon, for the beginning of a progressive supper. Each boy rode his bike. They stopped at the home of Mrs. Rigby had lived her entire married life in Newton, where she was Relief Society magazine representative for 25 years, Relief Society visiting teacher 36 years, and a temple worker for many years'. (Beth) Jack-so- n, Tacoma, Wash.;, 11 grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren and one brother, Walter A. Cooley, Newton. Andrea Lamb Funeral services were conducted for Andrea Elizabeth Reese Lamb, 72, Thursday noon in the Hyde Park Ward chapel. She died at Sunshine Terrace in Logan, Sunday.' She was bom Oct. 29, 1902, in- Benson, the daughter of William G. and Karen Anderson Reese. She was married to Willis J. Lamb on July 7, 1921 in Farmington. He died in March, 1962. She was a member of the LDS Church, serving as a teacher in Primary, Sunday School and Relief Society and MIA. She also sang in a ward choir. She was a school teacher in Benson and Hyde Park. A - ry..v4v' 1 member of the Hyde Park Literary Club, and was also a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Survivors include one son and three daughters: Blaine R. Lamb, Hyde Park; Mrs. Alvin (LaRee) Gibbons, Clearfield; Mrs. Beth L. Matthews, Sunnyvale, Calif., and Mrs. Scott (Arlene) Fluckiger, Logan. There are 10 grandchildren. Also surviving are five brothers and two sisters: William G. Reese, Whitney; Roland A. Reese, Logan; Arvel C. Reese and Lowell S. Reese, both of Benson; Cecil E. Reese, Kinston N.C.f Mrs. Robert (Norma) Reeder, Trenton, and Mrs. Norman (Ruth) Dahle, Ogden. - supper. They were accompanied on the bike ride by Mrs. Kunzler and two of the boys mothers, Lorna Archibald and Margaret Loft-- . house. After supper they continued on their bikes to the church grounds, where they all participated in a bicycle rodeo, under the direction of their cubmaster. Steven Archibald read a tribute to the flag, after which the colors were presented by flag beams Carl Lofthouse and Kevin Johnson. The boys participated on their bicycles in such events as barrell races, balancing, and maneuvering contests, with ribbons being presented to first, second, and third place, winners in each event. Boys who participated were Pari Lofthouse, Bart Ballard, Jeff Pall, Jeff Kunzler, . Dennis Falslev, Steven Archibald, Brian Kunzler, Jeff Watterson, Sam Cardon, Kevin Johnson, Kent Cardon, Thomas Peterson, and Daren Falslev. Craig Munk and Susan Garlock were united in marriage at a ceremony on Saturday, May 31, at the Colonial Mansion. Craig is the son of Beth and Wendell Munk. He graduated from Sky View High School and Seminary in 1972. He attended Denver Automotive and Diesel College and graduated in December 1973. He is now employed in Salt Lake City. Susan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dee Garlock of Hyrum. She graduated from Sky View High School in 1973, and is employed at Moore Business Forms. The new Mr. and Mrs. Munk will make their home in Salt I.ake City At Sacrament meeting on Sunday, Gregory Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Miller, was advanced in the Aaronic Priesthood from the office of Teacher to that of Priest. Achievement awards were presented to the following: Lucy Seamons, Mary Cardon, Chariot Peterson, Karl Stephenson, Christine Alim, Susan Reese, Laurel Schaub, Bruce Snow, Larry and Terry Maughan. LaRee and Norman Ricks and family of Preston; Beverly and Lon Ricks; Alims brother Louis Ricks and his wife Mary of Bountiful; and a granddaughter, Maxine Brown of american Falls. The family of Anna Mae and Frank Snow met at the parents home on Thursday for a surprise birthday party for Anna Mae. They arrived in decorated cars, bringing all the food for a cook out. Those present included Brian and Wendy Ernstrom and baby; Roland and Michelle Griffin and son; Melodee,-Brucand Robyn Snow; Allan Goodey; and Anna Maes parents, Carrie and Russell Lewis. Among those in the graduating class of Sky View were the following Benson young people: Christine Allen, Joyce Ballard, Pamela Bal- lard, Mary Cardon, Debra Falslev, Scott Falslev, Craig Lofthouse, Wayne Maughan, Tracy Reese, Lucy Seamons, Robyn Snow, LeAniie Tar bet. The following Sky View students received awards an award assembly held Sky View at at recently: Pamela e, Ballard, daughter of Lois and Melroy Ballard, the A. Alton Hoffman Service Award; Christine Allen, daughter of Vernetta and John Alim, received an academic scholarship at USU. Among those seniors representing the top 10 per cent of their class were Christine Alim, and Lucy Seamons, daughter of Norma and Russell Seamons. An activity award was received by Mary Cardon, daughter of Sharlrae and Wayne Cardon.
