The Beutlers posted a 14 under par score of 57 over the 18 hole couse, nipping three teams who were tied for second. George L. Beutler, 24 Second East and G. Bobby Funk also gave the Mets a boost with three hits: two singles and a double, and two RBI. The winning pitcher was Darin Stephens, striking out seven Rangers. Greg Chambers and Clint Straatman made a good showing for the Rangers. Chambers hit two singles and Straatman got three hits and one RBI.
