Salt Lake City and Gayla and Teresa of Smithfield. Melvins interests include motorcycle races, auto mechanics and sports. Roger Low, 18, is the son of Logan; Brad, married to Kris Smith and they live in Smithfield; Nyla married to Wayne Benson and they live in Logan; and a brother Brent at home. For more infor-corresponde- nt mation call 563-590- 0. Smithfield Dump to Close The Smithfield city council has passed a motion to inform the public of the expected closing of the city dump. The closing date is tentatively set at July 15. The actual closing of the dump will depend on the arrival of a number of garbage bins that have been ordered by the city for waste disposal. The dump is closing because it is full and there is no room available for expansion. As of this writing it had not yet been decided where the collection bins would be located. The dump will close one month after. the bins have been placed. Smithfield recently signed a contract with Cache County service area concerning solid waste pickup and disposal. Smithfield residents may have their garbage picked up and disposed of in Logan Citys sanitary landfill at the cost of $2 a month. Waste containers set out for pickup must not exceed 75 pounds each. Residents have the option of setting their trash out in held on Saturday at the front of their homes for pickup, driving it to the Logan Spectrum at Utah State Uni-b- e landfill themselves, or depositing it in the bins located versity.
