Show THURSDAY, JUNE 20, 1974 - THE CITIZEN Hullinger, Burgess Wed Sociable Citizen Cindy Hullinger became the bride of Lynn Craig Burgess on Saturday, May 25, 1974. Cindy is the daughter of Paul and Marjorie Hullinger of Smithfield, and Lynn is the son of Owen and Lois Burgess of Layton. The wedding ceremony was performed by an uncle of the bride, Don Hullinger, at the brides home. The afternoon reception was held at the Smithfield Lions Lodge. Cindy wore her mothers wedding dress which was made of antique satin with seed pearl lace collar, long tapered sleeves, buttoned down front and full skirt ending in a long train. The fingertip veil was gathered to a juliette cap. She carried an old fashioned bouquet of yellow and white carnations, ping roses and baby breath. The four bridesmaids. Susie and Karen Hullinger, sisters of the bride, Roxanna Losa and Lisa Burgess, sister of the groom, wore dresses of green and white checks with flocked daisies. The dresses had square . MR. AND MRS. LYNN CRAIG BURGESS necklines, puffed sleeves with full skirts ending in a ruffle. Each dress had a tie of green satin. The dresses were made by the brides mother who also made her own dress of long green JERRY ESKELSON AND SUSAN MERRILL '.polyester. The grooms mother wore a long dress of flowered ' Couple Selects Friday For Wedding Date Susan Merrill will become the bride of Jerry Eskelson on Friday, June 21. Follow- ing the ceremony, a reception will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 at the Smithfield Second Ward cultural hall, 175 South First West. All friends and relatives are invited to at- tend. Friendship Club Meets The Friendship Gub of Smithfield met at the home of Mary G. Hansen. President, Lucy Cooper, conducted the meeting. All 15 members were present and one guest, Thelma Thomley. A musical program was presented with Barbara Elliot singing If I Could Tell arid Climb Every You Mountain. Kelly Geddes and Connie Allen played a Minuette piano duet, 3 voile. Corey Burgess, brother of Susan is the daughter of JoAnn R. Merrill, Smith-fieland the late James R. Merrill and has attended Sky View High School. Grandparents are Lois and George Rasmussen and and Osmond Merrill, all of Smithfield. Jerry is the son of Lucille and J.D. Eskelson, Cove. He graduated from Sky View High School in 1973 and is presently employed at Thio-kin Logan. After a short honeymoon the couple plans to make their home in Logan. the groom, was best man and the ushers were Mike Martinez and Sarab Navai of Teheran, Iranr Out of town guests included the following relatives of the bride: grandparents, Cy and Jeannie Tayler of Orlando, Fla.; grandmother. Jennie Hullinger of Vernal. Utah; great grandmother. Alice Tayler of Salt Lake City, and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. A grandmother of the groom. Rachel Pass, of Ogden was also present, plus several uncles, aunts, cousins and a brother, Allen Burgess, with his wife, Vickie, and two children.
