Show AUG. 30, 1973 - THE CITIZEN - 3 THURSDAY, Sociable CitizenSixth Ward Smithfield Trips And Visits By Evelene Moody Mr. and Mrs. Blaylock Johnson enjoyed a weeks trip to Sacramento, Calif., where they visited their daughter and Lynette and Dave and son, Lt. Darren Dickey, of U.S. the Air Force. In Dickey San Francisco they visited a son and his wife, Brent and Shauna Johnson and their children. They also toured China Town and drove along the coast to Santa Clara before coming home. Gail and Richard Taylor and family were visited by Mrs. Taylors brother, Dr. Terrance Glover, his wife Barbara and two daughters. Dr. Glover is a professor of economics at Ohio State University. Mr. and Mrs. Vance Glover, Mrs. Taylors parents, of Farmington, Ut., also visited. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Funk and children enjoyed a picnic and entertainment at Lagoon one evening last week. Mrs. Vera Pinson and daughter, Kathy Rasmussen and children of Pocatello, visited another daughter, Addie Smith and family, for several days iii Magna. Clifford and Marilyn Craig and family enjoyed a weekend visit from Mrs. Craigs sister-in-laDr. Elizabet Atkins, from Salt Lake City. Dr. Atkins is practicing with the University of Utah Medical Center. Joan and Rex Merrill Brown and three sons spent a few days camping at the Greys River area near Jackson, Wyo. They also toured Jackson and Yellowstone Park. Mrs. Tom (Dorothy) Taylor and daughters of Eureka, Calif., visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Perkins, for a week. A lovely trip by the Taylors and Perkins was enjoyed touring s. Lewiston Annual Summer Party Held By Laree Bodily large crowd attended the annual Lewiston 2nd ward summer party held at the Lewiston recreation park last Tuesday evening. There were two ball games with the teenage girls beating the married ladies team and the married men defeating the teenage boys. Other activities included horse shoe pitching and square dancing with Mr. Hill as caller. Hamburgers and root beer were sold and there was free water-- . melon for everyone. Velma and JLene Rawlins visited in Star Valley, Wyo. for four days with Velmas brothers and sisters and their families. They also spent five days with Vera Rawlins in Brigham City and Rex Rawlins and his family in Layton. They enjoyed a visit also to Trolley Square in Salt Lake City. Zora Layne and Blanche Mar-le- r, along with Zetta Haslam and Melpha Squires of Logan, A Benson Briefs were hostesses for the annual party of the ladies who are descendants of the late James Michael Andersen. They enjoyed a picnic in Central Park in Logan and held a genealogy meeting. Zoras daughter, Kathy Dameron, and Kris Marler, Blanches daughter, attended also. Effie Boman, Laura Watkins and Lillian Hoffman, the three surviving daughters of Mr. Andersen, were present for the festivities. Mr. and Mrs. Newell King have enjoyed a visit from their and daughter, Ron and childFreeman and Sorija ren. Mr. Ilomer Millard of Arroyo, Calif., recently visited Sally and Charles Kychert, . their son, Larry and new infant son, Joshua. Mr. Millard is Mrs. Kycherts father. Other grandparents are Virginia Millard of Arroyo, Calif., and Mrs. Josephine ltychert of Pittsburg, Pa. Mr. and Mrs. Eld i Moody attended the rodeo, parade and Box Elder County and Cindy Edwards. Ellen Elwood was baptized and confirmed by her father, Norman Elwood. A grandmother, Mrs. Mary Perkins of Logan, Elwoods mother, attended both rites. Kristi Campbell, daughter of Joan Campbell, enjoyed a four week summer visit with her brothers, David and Douglas their families and with many friends in Alabama. Kristi lived in Alabama before moving to Utah six years ago.
