Japanese Girl To Visit Area TREASURETON MissJun- Motayama, a foreign exchange student from Japan, will be visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Workman and family for a few weeks. Two other girls and one adult will be visiting families in this area from Japan. Mr. and Mrs. Maynard of Soda Springs and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Paskins spent a few days on a fishing trip in the Salmon country. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Thomas, Craig Paskins and Terry Reed spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Paskins and family. Mr. and Mrs. Mack Hymas and Mr. and Mrs. Don Workman attended a Country Colossal program at the Spectrum in Logan. Randy Lowe went back to the hospital Monday evening to have some skin grafting on his leg after a motorcycle accident. He returned home Wednesday where he is recuperating. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Hollingsworth and Mr. and Mrs. Don Workman enjoyed a picnic in Cottonwood Sunday. Scott Workman, Greg Hollingsworth and Steven Anderson enjoyed the weekend at Jackson Hole, Wyo. They stayed overnight at Palisades Dam with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Anderson. Saturday, they drove through Yellowstone Park and Sunday they came home by way of Blackfoot and visited with some of the boys and girls they were acquainted with last year while they were on the trip to Washington, D. Tuesday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Myrl Workman were Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Loh and Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Liechty of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Coward of Pittsburg, Pa. Mrs. Ann Burton and Mrs. Dorothy Workman attended the funeral of Phillip Hawkes in Salt Lake City Wednesday. Mr. Hawkes was the father of a friend, Isabell Hawkes Trauke. Randy Lowe went to Sky View with Clair Hollingsworth Wednesday to spend the day. Clair teaches school there. Mr. and Mrs. Don Workman attended her class reunion at Soda Springs Saturday night. The writer went on to tell of some cases where girls had been followed and chased, In one instance, by a car. "Only by luck" were they able to escape.
