Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hart and family of Seattle have been visiting at the Thomas Cattani home and with other family members in the Preston area. Other visitors at the Cattani home recently were Mr. and Mrs. Clark Johnson and family of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bell and baby of Logan spent' the weekend visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Demont Bell. Kay Miles, Kim and Jill Gibson and Eddie Winger went to Salt Lake City Saturday to attend a pop concert at the Salt Palace. They visited with relatives while there. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Millikan and family and Michael Gregersen from Portland, Ore., came to spend a few days visiting with relatives and friends. Claudia Casperson of Provo spent the weekend at home with her family. She was on the Franklin County Dairy Princess float in the parade. Lee Ann Trujillo and Lisa Cook attended the LDS Youth conference in Provo during the past week. The Banida Relief Society held its homemaking meeting at the ward hall on August 1. The lesson was given by Dorothy Miles. A style review of the girls sewing was presented, and several of the girls and mothers participated and modeled their summer sewing. President Rex performed the double ring ceremony in the Logan LDS Temple. A wedding reception was held in the Franklin ward cultural hall on June 24th, given by the bride's father. The bride wore a floor length gown of white polyester sheer over polyester satin, accented with a Chantilly lace bodice, full sleeves gathered and trimmed at the wrist with lace, and a long flowing train of sheer polyester trimmed with lace attached at the empire waist. Her veil of brides illusion was held by a band of flower petals accented with a bow. The gown was designed by the bride and made by her sister, Mrs. Leah Lowe.
