Law enforcement officers have been kept busy for the past week investigating accidents, including one where a pickup turned and rolled in Ihe air, jumping over a flower bed in a front yard. About seven accidents were reported. A pickup, driven by Paz Martinez, 78, of Clifton was hit in the side by a car driven by Mrs. Elsa Crookston last week on the road to Weston, about four miles southwest of Preston. The pickup roiled over, turned once and landed on the front yard of the Bill Harris home without damaging a flower bed ki its path. Mr. Martinez suffered head injuries. No one rise was hurt. Damage was estimated at $2400 to both vehicles. Mrs. Crookston was cited for failure to yield. A horse, being hauled in a truck driven by Bartow Gilbert, was killed when the truck rolled' out of control on Interstate IS near Arimo on June 2. No one was injured. A car driven by Donald Fisher, 19, of Gkfiton, collided with a motorbike, driven by Roger Seamens, 24. The- accident occurred Thursday about 11:05 pjm. on the Cub River road. According to the report by the sheriffs office, Hr. Fisher cut the corner, forcing it off the road.
