Show The Davis County Support Your Local Police 1972 Police Appreciation Program The South Davis Committee to Support Your Local Police has scheduled the 1972 Police Appreciation Program for January 31, 1973, 8:00 P.M., at J. A. Taylor Elementary School, 293 E. Pages Lane, Centerville. A has very worthwhile program been planned. The purpose of this program is to show appreciation to all the policemen and their respective departments in the Davis area for the outstanding job they are doing for the residents and businesses in our South community. Mrs. Mary Ellen Toone, Chairman of the South Davis Committee to Support Your Local Police says, 1 feel every person in the cities of Bountiful, West Bountiful, Centerville, Woods Cross, and North Salt Lake age twelve and up would love to attend this program in honor of our fantastic policemen. It will be uplifting and informative. The program will conclude no later than 10:00 P.M., and light refreshments will be served. Police Appreciation Awards will be presented; and Charles E. Smith, editor and publisher of The Voice of Watts newsletter, will be the featured speaker. His talk is entitled uMore Dangerous Than A Riot.
