Show Mary B. 4 Miller weds Max McCIean in Logan Julie Marett engaged to wed Max Forbush Mr. and Mra. George Marett of Duchesne, announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie, to Max Forbush, son of Mrs. Elmer Forbush of Rexburg, Ida. Miss Marett Is a graduate of Duchesne high school where she held the offices of Studentbody secretary and Debutante president. She Is also a four year LDS She has attended Seminary graduate. Brigham Young University for the past two years. Forbush graduated from Sugar-Sale- m He is also a graduate of Ricks College and Brigham Young University. He served a mission for the LDS church in Brazil. The couple Is planning a September 3 wedding In the Salt Lake LDS Temple. That evening a reception will be held In their honor at the Duchesne Stake house. The couple will make thlr home In Provo where they will continue their education at Brigham Young University. Members of the wedding party were guests of the Stoddards at a wedding dinner at Coveys Little America following the ceremony. The newlyweds were honored at a reception July 9 at the Roosevelt Ward Cultural hall. A hawalian setting was car r led out In the decorations and refreshments. For her wedding the bride wore a floor-leng- th gown of white jersey knit with an It angel back which formed a train. pointed rounded a long neckline, featured sleeves. She wore a Malll lei, the traditional hawalian wedding lei and also a 6- - strand plkakelel and a Moana Loa Lei of vanda orchids. She wore a garland of white baby orchids in her hair and carried a bouquet of four white orchids with pink rose buds and several strands of pikake orchids. Mrs. Robert Mathews was matron of muu muu honor. She wore a floor-leng- th of lavender embossed volleand she wore a double orchid lei. Bridesmaid was Lorle Nelson with Lisa Nelson and Beverly Kaye Stoddard as flower girls. They wore dresses the same as that of the Matron of honor except the flower girls carried baskets of vanda orchids. Mothers of the young couple wore like muu muus of blue embossed voile and each wore a blue carnation lei. Robert Mathews performed the duties of best man. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Nelson were host and hostess. The four-tierwedding cake had a orchids twined vanda lined with stairway around the cake. At the top were a miniature bride and groom. Several strands of baby vanda orchids were draped from the second tier. It was made of fruit cake. Accents on the cake were bells, butter-fly- s and lacework. Assisting with the sevlng were Alta Bench, Ruby Gale, Roberta Jones, Kim Gale, Nancy Brighton and Lenna Lee Roberts. Mrs. Pat Roberts and Miss Lucy Jones took care of the gifts. Miss Linda Muir presided at the guest book. John B.
