She drowned early Wednesday evening in a shallow irrigation ditch near her home. She was found about 8 p.m. by her five older brothers and sisters. She had been honor roll Utah State University students who achieved the honor roll for the Spring Quarter, 1971 have been announced by Dr. Claude J. Burtenshaw, for student affairs. In order for a student to be on the honor roll he must be enrolled full time and have a grade point average of 3.5 or better (4.0 is straight A) Students from Duchesne County with honor roll status are David Grant Monsen, Altamont; Sherr White, Duchesne; Thomas Albert Page, Gloria Uresk, DeAnn Humphre Delange, David Ra Labrum, Lloyd L. Speakers were Guy Thayne, Bishop Fred Tew, who gave the obituray and remarks and Sidney Rust.
