Show UTB INDIAN TIMUR Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation, Utah HUNTING PROCLAMATION WHEREAS, the Pish and Game Commission of the Ute Indian Tribe hae made Investigation and has received recommendations from the member of the Tribe, Federal Technicians, Tribal Conservation Officers and other qualified persons, and WHEREAS, we have agreed nmong ourselves tlint the seasons and regulations to be set forth herelnunder are for the best interest of the Ute Indian Tribe and will not be detrimental to the conservation of wildlife on the Reservation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE FISH AND GAME COMMISSION that by virtue of authority vested In the Commission under Ordinance, dated October 9, 1950, approved by the Secretary of the Interior, we hereby proclaim the following seasons, rules and regulations for the taking of game within the Tribal lands of the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation by Ihe of the Ute Indian Tribe. CLOSED AREAS: Entire Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation shall be closed to of the Ute Indian Tribe during the GENERAL DEER SEASON, October 23 through to November 2, 1!)71. DEER, POST SEASON HUNT: November 6 through to A. 15. 1971. r, either sex, nre authorized to be sold to the public in the hunting Units 22a. 23c, 23d, 28c, parts of Units 26 and 27a located in the lower Duchesne River and Unit 27c Sowers and Antelope Canyons, on Indian lands. Maxine Burdick were her daughter and family, Mr, and Mrs. Ralph Madsen from Casper, Wyo., also here this week are Howard and Sherrie Burdick and family from Billings, Mont. -Mrs. Stella Muse returned home last week after a two week vacation with her sun and family, Mr. and Mrs. Acel Muse of Price. Site accompanied tltem to Mesa Verde, Bryce and ion Natlisial Parks and the Grand Canyon. She visited at their home In Price for a week before returning home. -Mr. and Mrs. Kay Bolen and Tonya and Rodney Bird were in Salt Lake Friday. Two of Kays children, Sliane and David Bolen returned home with them. Tonya stayed in Salt take to visit for a week. Visitors over the weekend at the home of Mr. and Airs, tarry Grant were Court Lee and sons from Provo. Here on Monday were Mr. and Airs. Don Lee from Lander, Wyo., also visiting on Sunday were Mr, and Airs. LaMar Thomas and girls from Orem. Connie Karl returned home with them to spend the week. Air. and Mrs. Cliff Giles from Ogden visited over the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Kldredge Buckalew. Jimmy, Terry and Debbie Ashton, children of Air. and Airs. Allen Ashton, went by Jet from Salt take on Friday to St. Ixsils, Mo., where they will visit grandparents, Air. and Airs. Leonard Ashton. Lowell and Joyce Rohrback and family and Bob and Jill Ketterer and family from Salt take visited over the weekend with parents, Air. and Airs. Herbert Alecham and other family meinliers. Wade Wilkins and son Leon from Colorado Springs, Colo., are here this week visiting with Mrs. Sylvia Mecham. Airs. Evelyn Aiurdock Is In Seattle, ir.
