Show Diabetes detection drive Nov. 16 - 21 cunrooi the schools During the week of Nov. 16-doctors and community health department are cooperating In a diabetes detection program. This will be for all ages and will be free of charge. All parents will be asked to obtain a urine specimen from their elementary school child, label It with Childs name and send It to school where It will be tested. Junior high and high school students will collect specimens at school where It will be tested. Doctors will not test school students In their office during this week. All adults and pre school children may take their urine specimens to the Roosevelt Medical Clinic or Public Health office In Duchesne, any day during diabetes detection week Nov. 16-where It will be tested free of charge. You will be notified only If ther are any abnormal findings. Nora Christensen recently attended a Postmasters training seminar In Provo. The annual Whlterocks ward conference was held Oct. 20. Relief Society Is now being held at 2 p.m. In the afternoon. For many years It has been held In the evening. Colleen Thacker had major surgery at Uintah County hospital last week. Eddie was called home from Vietnam due to the serious condition of his father, Ed Jensen, who has been critical following a two car accident during deer season.
