Show THE CITIZEN 14 AT SALT ILAfflS The engaging romance of two young song writers ,who have a hankering to crash Broadway is the central idea in the. new attraction starting Sunday at the house with the members of the Metropolitan Players in the many interesting roles. The title of .the play is The Road to The Great White Way and it was written by Bert J. Nor--ton who has done a masters job in a delightfully exhilarating way, furnishing two solid hours of real fun filled with novelty and human interest. Of course there are a couple of sweethearts to encourage .the young contenders for fame in New York. There is the shabby side of the great city with its heart aches, dis appointments and discouragements. There is a tear now and then but the whole thing is lightened with a fine vein of fun and human which help materially in the making of a real dramatic romance out of every day people and incidents. It is the clever manner in which the lines and situations are handled that has made The Road to The Great White Way a very alluring piece of entertainment and such a decided success wherever it is played. Theodora Warfield and Ben Er-j way will have the leading roles and the remainder of the long cast will be in the capable hands of the Playhouse favorites who may always be relied upon to put over any parts assigned to them.
