Republican Tea at Hotel Utah Today The Womens Republican Club will give their annual bridge tea at the Hotel Utah today. The number of reservations made indicate the keen interest displayed by the women in this event. The affair is in charge of the entertainment committee. Mrs. Jas. A. and is visiting relatives and friends in Salt Lake. Mrs. Anderson is en- route to her home in San Francisco. Mrs. Ray Wadleigh of Oakland is the guest of her father, F. D. Kimball. Mrs. Charles J. Allen will be at home temporarily during Captain Allens absence in Washington, D. C., at the Allen quarters at Fort Douglas. Captain and Mrs. Allen will leave lat- - home in the Wasatch apartments. ' Professor and Mrs. W. T. Bunzier and their son, Hal, are at Hindenburg Strasse, Erlanger, Germany. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Weiner and family are planning to leave soon for Seattle where they will make their home. Mrs. Maud S. Cameron and family returned to Salt Lake during the past week after spending several months in California. Mrs. A. G. Mackenzie returned recently from New York where she has spent several weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Allan T. Astin. Mrs. Astinwas formerly Miss Margaret Mackenzie. Mrs. George H. Dem Entertains Mrs. George H. Dem received informally Thursday afternoon between the hours of 3 and 6 p. m. at her East South Temple street home. A splendid musical program was enjoyed by the many guests. Mrs. J. G. Giles of Los Angeles was the honor guest at a delightful luncheon and bridge party Saturday afternoon at the home of Mrs. J. A. Alder. . Miss Virginia Rishel will leave Tuesday for New York City where she will join a party of friends with whom she will make an extensive tour of Europe. Mrs. Ernest C. Rossiter and daug- hter, Betty, have just returned from a three years stay in Europe. Mrs. E. W. Robinson entertained for Mrs. Rossiter Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. John Lundberg, who have spent the summer in San Francisco, will go east by way of Panama canal before returning to Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Thomas and daughters, Connie and Doris, and son, Foster, recently returned from a few weeks trip to Los Angeles and the beaches. , . at Mr. and Mrs. Keith Severn are Mrs. Austin Kerr has returned from a four months visit with friends in - the east. Furen have returned from a six weeks trip through the east and are spending a few days in Salt Lake, guests of Mrs. Ruth Beckstead, mother of Mrs. Furen. The Furens are enroute to their home in Green River. Mrs. Charles Digby will leave Sunday for an extended trip to the Pacific coast.
