Show CITIZEN vehicle and the interference with the machin- ery or parts thereof and prohibiting drivers or operators of vehicles from permitting majors or minors doing any of said things. Be it ordained by the Commissioners of Salt Lake County as follows : . Section 1. No person shall, without authority of the owner or person in charge there-o- f, climb upon or .into or swing upon or hold Qon any vehicle, whether the same is in motion ' or at rest, sound any horn or other signalling device or attempt to manipualte any of the levers, the starter, brakes or machinery there- of, or set said vehicle in motion, or to damage, tamper or interfere, with the same. Section 2. No owner, driver or person in charge shall permit or allow any person, either a major or a minor, to climb upon or into or swing upon or hold to any vehicle whether the same is in motion or at rest. Section 8. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $50.00 or by imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed thirty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
