Although strikes have been hourly expected in Spring Valley, nothing of interest has transpired aside from the continued flow from the two wells which are already producing there. At Fossil the same conditions prevail as a week ago. The Idaho rig is still at work and the well is gaining depth slowly. All other rigs, with the exception of assessment ones, are idle. In Green River the same rigs which were at work a week ago are still pounding away and one rig is likely ti be started in the near future, Thougl the time for active operations is drawing to a close in the northern fields th.re is likely to be no change ii eastern Utah, and activity will bt noted ull through the winter, ft ft That intrepid oil man, R.
