Elizabeth Lodicy Stanley was born March 18, 1904, in Park City. They were married January 20, 1926, in Salt Lake. The marriage was solomnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, February 20, 1941. The Hanbergs have lived in Altamont for the past 47 years, and before that in Myton, ML Home, and in Park City. They have raised four boys, Glendon, Vernal; Cecil, Bridgeland; Dale, Panguitch; and Rex also of Vernal They have 16 grandchildren and 3 They are active members of the LDS Church and have held many positions over the years. Ladies from Brazil visit area Recent overnight visitors at the home of Clarence and Roberta Jones were their daughter, Barbara, Salt Lake, and friends she made while serving an LDS mission to South Brazil The ladies are Sisters, Bernadete and Lucia De Andrade of Porto Alegre, Brazil. The sisters previously visited Los Angeles, Disneyland, San Francisco, and other friends in Utah. A second month's stay in the USA is planned. Lemon of Roosevelt has been selected to be a Finalist in the 1976 Miss UUh Teen-Age- r Pageant to be held at the Salt Lake Hilton, in Salt Lake City, on April 16, 17 and 18, 1976. The Miss Utah Teen-Age- r Pageant is the official State Finals to the U Kimberly National Teen-Age- r Ann Jensen, Caldwell, Idaho. Each contestant accepted will be requested to participate in the Volunteer Community Service Program of the National Teen-Age- r Pageant. This program teaches teenagers to share and to participate in school and civic affairs. A Charm Course is given in conjunction with the g STANDARD Pageant. The winner of the Miss Utah Teen-Age- r Pageant will receive a scholarship, other prizes and an paid trip to compete in the Miss National Teen-AgPageant in Atlanta. $10,000 in cash scholarships will be awarded at the National pageant. Contestants will be judged on scholastic achievement-leadership- , and beauty. There is no swim suit or talent competition. Mrs. Howard L. Andrews flew in from Hunington, Utah, Wednesday for a short visit with her father and mother-in-laMr. and Mrs. Howard Andrews. Mrs. Millie Stevens and daughter Mrs.. Larry (Connie) Ross motored to American Fork Friday to visit a niece Twila Newbury who is confined to the hospital due to a serious ear, train accident during the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. John Andrews went to Salt Lake during the weekend on business. Mr. and Mrs. Don Truman motored to Ogden Tuesday where Don attended Utah Pharmacy Board meetings for two days. Celia Hall was hostess to a going away party at her home in honor of Cynthia Ross who with her family Leon and Janet Ross are moving soon to Provo. Nine friends enjoyed an evening entertainment of movies, supper and games. Darrell Josie of Salt Lake City visited Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross. 8 members of the Special Interest Group from this area attended a Special Interest regional dance at Duchesne Stake Center Saturday evening. Bishop Jim RefcJhead went to Orem Saturday to get his wife Jean who has been convalescing at the home of her Mr. and Mrs. sister and brother-in-laAlton Thacker for six days after major surgery at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake. Bishop Reidhead stayed in Salt Lake for six days to be with his wife while confined to the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ardean Bench spent the weekend visiting in Orem with his mother Lenore Bench and also in Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Owen Bagley. Mrs. Donald Laria and mother Myrtle Elmer and daughter and Susan and Don Solmonson attended sessions in the Provo Temple Saturday. Mr. Another daughter and and Mrs. Rick Hardy of Battle Mt. Nev., also accompanied them. Mrs. Bernice Nelson and sister Mrs. Beryl Root visited in Provo during the week with Mr. and Mrs. Kent Nelson in Salt Lake City, with Mr. and Mrs. Orel Babcock and a sister Melba Swain at Ogden, Melba accompanied them back to Roosevelt for a weeks visit here. Gary Joslin of Spanish Fork visited during the week with friends and also attended to business affairs here. Mrs. Vilate Summarell is convalescing at the home of her son Mr. and Mrs. Ray Summarell, after spending a week in the Duchesne County Hospital due to a fall. Labrum Dr. and Mrs. Randall accompanied by Barbara Bolton left Wednesday to attend a chiropractor convention at Las Vegas, Nevada. They were also accompanied by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Labrum as far as St George where they visited with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Labrum.
