The bride elect was Becky Thorpe. Fay and Etta went on to Salt Lake and spent the weekend with her sister Irene Nickol and other relatives. Eric Nelson went to Provo Monday where he will attend two weeks special schooling for the state road. Carol and Bud Felter from Salt Lake spent the weekend here visiting relatives. Mike and Alice Cook and daughter went to Provo and Springville where they spent the weekend with grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Riding. Mrs. Oral Fenn and daughter Lori spent Saturday in Vernal with her mother Mrs. Len Boren. A group of young people enjoyed the snow and snowmobiling on Mosby Mt. and Paradise Park Saturday. Some were Eric Nelson, Gordon Peterson, the Duane Borens, Jr. and Bly Boren, Kim and Sherrol Anderton and Kirby Anderton. Colleen Stevens is a patient in the local hospital for a few days. I would like to comment on the article in the Vernal Paper written by Mrs. Annie Pierson as she and family lived neighbors to us for years. Annie needs to be congratulated on this effort as it gives an insight into our heritage and tribulations of not so long ago.
