Ralph and Edna went with them to the Salt Lake Temple to have their work done and their five children sealed to them. They came back Wednesday and stayed until Thursday before leaving for home. They were people the Smith's converted in the mission field. e Last Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wardle and family of Salt Lake visited Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Smith. Dee Giles, Dave Walker and Steve Cartess, all from Salt Lake visited Mr. and Mrs. Leo S. Defa and went snowmobiling. Dee is the Deb's grandson. e Monday Nettie, DaVonna and children kept doctors appointments in Salt Lake and did some shopping. The 19th of Dec. Mr. and Mrs. Leo S. Defa went through the Salt Lake Temple with their granddaughter Luana Allred and Wayne Watson of Heber. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin and Joy Allred of Heber. They also attended a wedding breakfast at Grandmothers Cafe. Returning to Heber they kept doctors appointments and that evening attended a reception for the young couple in the 3rd ward reception hall in Heber, where they received 400 guests. e Mr. Tom Woods returned home from a stay in the Salt Lake Hospital and is feeling better but will have to take things easy for awhile. e Linda Wood visited her dad and mother Christmas Eve and during the holidays making the family home for Diego, California at the home of their son his family. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wright drove to Salt Lake City to spend Christmas with their son Ken and his family. Mr. and Mrs. Wells Wright of Brighham City were visiting the Earl Wrights over the past weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Del Broadhead spent Christmas day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Broadhead in Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Eujpne Abplanalp spent Christmas day at the home of their son Floyd and his family in South Jordan. . Mr. and Mrs. Kent Lyman of Rock Springs, Mr and Mrs. Walt Schriever of Logan, Mr Joe Walters and family of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wright, Elaine Farnsworth and family, were all Christmas dinner guests at the home of ' Mr. and Mrs. Leland Wright. Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Christensen of Salt Lake City and daughter, Mrs. Stan Searle spend the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wright. Mr. Calvin Broadhead was visiting the Merlin Broadheads on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hamilton had all their family home for the Christmas Brent and Jose, California to spend the Christmas week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Broadhead. The Shared Broadheads left Saturday morning December 27, to visit with Shared's wife's folks, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Brown of Idaho Falls. Christmas dinner was enjoyed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Broadhead, those present were Mr. and Mrs. Grant Earl and two daughters, Alexis and Janell; also, Mr. and Mrs. Shared Broadhead and sons, Shaun and Pat. Mr. and Mrs. Del Broadhead just returned from a weeks vacation in San holidays. Dale Baler and Billy McCoal from California, former residents of Utahn were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Brent Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. Mont Crosland from Sandy, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Robb of Pocatello, Idaho were visiting the Theron Robbs over the Christmas weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Theron Robb, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Robb, drove to Salt Lake to visit Mrs. Robb's sister, Mrs. Mandy Chid ester who is in the LDS Hospital with a broken hip. Mrs. Chides ter is 88. They also visited Mr. Ivan Brown who is in the LDS Hospital. Deb for the holidays were Mr. and Mrs. Max Giles and family of Draper, Mr. and Mrs. Lou Penrod of Green River, Wyoming and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Sprauge of Oklahoma. Steve and Diana are the Deb's granddaughter and husband and the daughter of Maxine and Lon. He b a coach at Oklahoma College. e The Primary presented a very nice Christmas program to the Tabiona Ward Wednesday evening with Santa Claus bringing candy and nuts to all the young people and receiving bst minute changes on his orders. A large crowd attended this program. e Mr. and Mrs. Craig and Kay Nielson and children of Salt Lake spent the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Jones and bmily. Kay is the Jones daughter. and Mrs. Don Jones spent . Mr. Christmas in Salt Lake with hb wifes relatives and visiting friends. National The Forest Ashby employees of the Duchesne and Stock-mor- e stations held a Forest dinner and party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Smith. A lovely dinner was served and games played. Most of the employees were in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Nye spent the ' holidays in Salt Lake with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Ted D. Nye and family and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Curry and famOy. e Mr. and Mrs. Leo Turnbow spent Christmas holidays in Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Steve Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Turnbow and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Turnbow and bmily, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Turnbow and family, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Turnbow and family and Marsha Turnbow of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Rhoades of Southern Utah and Mary Lee of Orem visited Mr. and Mrs. Jim Rhoades and family fast week. They stayed in Orem for Christmas returning Friday. They are spending the winter in Southern Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Pace came out Christmas morning and took Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lee to Salt Lake for two days returning Saturday afternoon. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lee and family of Orem, Mrs. Ida Smith and Max Bond in American Fork, Miss Etta Redmond in Salt Lake. They had Christmas dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Pace. Christmas evening they had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Skewesand baby of Twin Falls, Idaho and the Paces. Friday they visited Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Riley and in the evening Mr. and Mrs. Ross and Patsy Malbt, Mr. and Mrs. Marvel Pace, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lee of Orem and Bobby Paces sister, Peggy, and Geraldine and families visited all of them at the Bobby Paces. e Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lee and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Skewes and baby, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Pace and family brought the Lee's back home and a family dinner was held Saturday evening at the Ray Lee's and Mr. and Mrs. Brent Lee and family joined them. They all left for home Sunday morning at 11:30. Mr. Max Adams and boys of Orem also visited Sunday. This was the first time Iht Ray Lee's had visited away from home for Christmas in forty-on- e years. They also visited in Bountiful with thebhn B. Skewes while in Salt Lake. Mr. Jack Young left fast week to visit relatives and his children in the East and down in the Southern States. He will return again in the spring to make his home in odr area. e Tom Giles of Draper is visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Defa this week while out on vacation.
