Registration for these classes will be held on Sept 16, 8 17s and 18 from p m. at the Bountiful High office. Instruction in thtjse classes will begin the week of 6-- Sept. 23. ' A new class that will begin this fall session is a class that will be a senes of twp week workshops on health and nutrition. They will be taught by Curt Calder, a registered dietitian and a member of The American Dietetic Association. He will offer insightful instruction in nutntion for active people, food for a healthy heart, learning to eat properly with diabetes, and nutntion myths and controversies. This is an outstanding opportunity to learn from an expert in this field. Another new class being offered is in basket weaving. The instructor is Dome Dean, an anthropologist, who will provide great classes for youth and adults Other classes for youth include gymnastics, Boy Scout ment badge classes, and the Tae Kwon Do Karate Anc Cramer will continue to teach his outstanding class for ages seven years and up Professionally, he is an attorney. However, in the evenings, Mr. Cramer uses his skills as a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do martial arts to instruct community patrons. His class is helpful in building confidence, self control, and discipline. It is great for children and adults. He has been continuously teaching at BHS for over five years. Popular classes that will continue to be offered include computer classes in Work Perfect, Quattro Pro, Internet usage, and computer aided design Also offered are new classes in Desk Top Publishing for Windows. Other classes include drapery making, calligraphy, ceramics, financial investments, ball room dancing, nails beautiful, and American Sign language that have t -- version of the American frontier. Peterson takes first place Davis County musician, David Blair Peterson, 14, Farmington, participated in and took first place tn his age group in the recent Utah State Fair Junior Organ Competition held at Temple Square tn the Assembly Hall on Tuesday, Sept. 5. He performed Fugue in C first place winners of the 1996 State Fair Competition. The Music Winners concert is sponsored by the Salt Lake Alumni Chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon, an International Professional Music Fraternity.
