Show Local boy honored in state poster contest old Scott Blackhurst, Eight-yeJ.P. Stewart Elementary School in ar Centerville, won the Bureau of Reclamation Award in the 11th Annual Young Artists Water Education Poster Contest. Scott was honored at a November 8 awards banquet at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. The statewide poster contest is sponsored by the Utah Division of 1 Water the and Resources International Office for Water Education at Utah State University. This years contest theme was Wild Water for Wildlife. The Division of Water Resources offers the contest to more than 10,000 classrooms, kindergarten through sixth grade, to encourage integration of water education with other state core instruction. Photos of students and their winning posters will appear in a 1966 10WE calendar. Her poster, on the theme of .Wild Water for Wildlife, also won the contests second grade trophy. The awards were presented at a Nov. 18 banquet at the University k of Utah.
