Show Johnson Family Leaves to Preside Over LD Mission AURORA Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Johnson will leave June 27 to preside over the Australia Perth LDS Mission for three years, beginning A farewell honoring the family will be Sunday in the Aurora First Ward Church at 9 a.m. President and Mrs. Johnson are attending a mission presidents seminar at the Missionary Training Center in Provo this week to prepare them for the new calling. July l. Two of their children, Gordon, 16 and Cami Lee, 12, will accompany their parents on the assignment. On their way home they stopped in Salt Lake City to visit Leon Masons family and other relatives for a week. They had a real nice trip but are glad to be home. Mr, and Mrs. Venoy Curtis went to Provo last week for doctors appointments and went to Salt Lake to visit their daughters fami-lMr. and Mrs. Earl Severance. Lawrence Hourihan has been in the hospital for a hip operation. He is home now and feeling better. Elaine Brown and children spent several days last week in Kooshar-em- , visiting Dahl. Dahl and Elaine traveled to Provo to a wedding reception and then saw the movie Return of the Jedi. Kim and Verna took their family camping last weekend also. .Mr. .and Mis. Bemell Aigyle, Lake Shore, were here visiting Delbert and Lyle Barney last Tues' day. Lowell and VerLynn Killpack were here Sunday to take their daughters, Melissa and Stacy home and visit Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bastian for Fathers Day and Ernests birthday. Dennis and Cheryl Huntsman and Robyn and Brady went on a trip to Mesa Verde last week. They had a nice and restful weekend. Hie Aurora Second Ward Scouts went to summer camp at Maple Del last week. Lorraine Exline, Wendy Shaw, Tracy Bennet, Lisa Huntsman, and Tanya Brown attended. JoAnn also went to Joseph to visit her father, Eugene Mills, for the weekend. Bob and Karen Hales were in Provo for the Miss Utah Pageant where their daughter, Vicky Hales participated. She had a great time and well probably see her there again. Brett and Tammy Thompson and Russ Thompson were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hales and attending the pageant. (g) S ACCEPTED BUTTONHOLES chaperoning and eating the boys cooking which got better as the week went along at least it must have because they got the award for the most improved camp at the end of the week. They had a very successful week with all the boys earning merit badges. They broke camp records in the obstacle course and several other events. They also learned that. they, are the worst frisbee throwers in Utah. None of them even came close to hitting a tree trunk. They will be having several training sessions in the weeks ahead. The boys who attended and did these marvelous deeds were Rusty Bastian, Robert Taylor, Brady Edwards, Jason Nielsen, Gary Hampton, Brett Hutchings and Cory Thurston. The mission farewell will be held Sunday at 9 a.m. for President and Mrs. Jerald Johnson and their family who will soon be leaving to preside over the Australia, Perth Mission.
