He was bom Sept. 15, 1907, Escalante, to John and Margaret Leah Harris Alvey. He married Golda Veil Sorensen, Sept. 13, 1934, Richfield ; she died July 22, 1940. He married Ida Christensen, Aug. 17, 1943, Salt Lake LDS Temple. He had the first Chrysler automobile dealership in Utah and was owner and operator of Alvey Lumber at the time of his death. wife, Sigurd; son, Kelly Lew, Sigurd; Mrs. daughters, Frank (Louie) Keeney, JoAnn, both Los Angeles; Mrs. Jimmie (Erlene) Crowther, Sandy; Mrs. Jim (Marie) Carter, Bluffdale; Mrs. Larry (Janine)Astle, Brigham City;' 14 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Melvin (Rose) Ramsey, Moroni; Mrs. Wilford (Alice) Pierce, Orem. Funeral services will be Wed- nesday at 12 noon in the Sigurd Ward chapel where friends may call from 10 to 11 :30 a.m. Burial will be in the Sigurd Cemetery by Neal S. His death came as a shock to family and the town of Redmond, as he was helping other town members prepare for the town homecoming. He was dearly loved and shall be missed by all who knew him. Wally was bom and raised in Redmond and spent his entire life here except for brief periods of employment in other areas of the country. He married Aroelda Murphy in the Manti Temple on November 7, 1933. They have raised 6 children, Gaylen, Greely, Colo.; Mrs. Larry (Shanna) McFarland, Clovis, Cal.; Mrs. Dennis (Kathleen) Jensen, Heber City; John, Kaysville; Mrs. Roger (LaRue) Elkins, Sandy; Kurt, Springville. Poulson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, died June 0, 1983. He loved all types of sports both as a participant and later as a spectator. He was an avid sportsman and participated in all areas of hunting and fishing.
