Padgett, 77, of 765 E. 700 S., died Sunday, April 20, 1986, at the Humana Hospital Davis North in Layton of cardiac arrest. She was born July 3, 1908, in Eagle, Okla., a daughter of Richard Allan and Estella May Andrews Philbrick. She married A.G. Padgett, former police chief of Clearfield, Oct. 23, 1926, in Miami, Okla. He died June 12, 1977. She had worked at the Naval Supply Depot and Arsenal. She retired in 1972 at a procurment clerk at Hill Air Force LAYTON Wednesday, April 9, 1986 of leukemia. He was born June 19, 1934, in N. C., a son of Charles Willard and Ruth Jarrett Starnes. He marrield Jean Transue Oct. 6, 1973 in Layton. He was on occupational safety and health specialist in Air Munititons Management Division at Hill Air Force Base. He was in the U. S. Air Force for 20 years, serving in Vietnam and Thailand.
