Ronnie Becks Piper even flew from Cape Town, South Africa. r$-ne- w 20-ye- ar Ms. Piper, 1963-6- 4 student at Davis, "was an AFS Exchange Student living with Beth and the late Hal Labell of Centerville. The families have kept in touch over the years. In .1975 the visited Ms. Piper at her home in Cape Town. In 1979 Ms. Piper began planning for her return to the United States. The schools are more rigid with a tremendous amount of discipline, said Mrs. Piper of the Cape Town schools. Television was introduced into South Africa just nine years ago. They have two channels where programs are broadcast in both the British English and Africans languages. People make the place-Ut- ah is very different, said Mrs. Piper.
