Compromise Gives Layton Bookmobile Service for Year BARRY KAWA Review Staff FARMINGTON Reaching a compromise, the Davis County Library Board Monday approved a contract to continue bookmobile service to Layton residents at a cost of $20,000. Acting Board Chairman Glen E. Saunders said the agreement reached with Layton officials, before Tuesdays meeting allows-thcounty to consolidate the citys bookmobile stops to reach the negotiated amount. At a previous meeting, the board had agreed to raise the bookmobile service cost from $14,000 to $27,000 since Layton was the predominant user of the north county bookmobile.
