Show 6D Lakeside Review North, Wednesday, April 18, 1984 Mss Sunset Pageant Deadline Set May 5 The deadline for entries in the 1984 Miss Sunset Pageant is May 5. The opportunity to participate in the Miss Sunset for the Miss American pageant awaits young women within the Sunset City boundaries. The woman selected as Miss Sunset will compete on the state level for the Miss Utah title. To qualify, a young woman must be between the ages of 17 and 26 on Labor Day 1985. She must be a high school graduate and must have never been married. Talents will be considered in judging and each contestant should possess some quality of talent either trained or potential. The candidates will be judged on the same criteria as in the national Miss America pageant. The "Buy a Brick" program has two purposes: first, it helps to pay for construction and. second, it allows the donor to become part of the base's history by having his or her name permanently attached to a brick on an interior wall of the museum.
