PREPARING DECORATIONS for 25th ball of the Clearfield LDS Clearfield LDS Stake Organizes Anniversary Event for April 14 CLEARFIELD The Clearfield Utah LDS Stake will mark 25 years with an anniversary event on Saturday, April 14. Current and past stake presidencies, clerks, executive secretaries and their spouses will be honored. It will begin at 8:30 p.m. in the stake cultural hall. The stake was organized on April 12, 1959, with George S. Haslam serving as president and Harvey M. Broadbent and Virgil T. Hilton as counselors. The current stake president is Frank s Lombardo, and Douglas A. and Rulon C. Cummings are used in the decorations for the ball including colorful flowers and greenery, crystal chandeliers, a gazebo, and a crepe paper rainA spring theme will be Douglas and Wanda Ingram are chairing the event, assisted-bNeil Nebeker, lla Pay, Terry and Judy Ingram, Lois Affeltran-geJohn Bates, Flora Knight and Arietta Lombardo.
