Team Wins Math Contest Clearfield ROTC Team Wins Trophy CLEARFIELD Clearfield High School Air Force Junior ROTC drill team received the overall champion trophy at the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley in competition with Air Force Junior ROTC Teams from Cheyenne and Denver and the Civil Air Patrol Team from Boulder. Sixteen cadets from CHS flew to Denver. After visiting Lowry AFB, they bused to Greeley for last all day Saturday. Sunday the Cadets visited the Air Force Academy where they 'met with evening practice and activities with the AFROTC Detachment at UNC. The drill competition former Clearfield students Walter Jurek and Robert Morrell. Cadet Richard Garner commanded the 12 member Flight Team which received first place The North CLEARFIELD Davis Junior High School math team took first place in the recent regional competition. The team, comprised of seventh and eighth graders chosen from the algebra I and II classes, competed against seven junior highs in the Weber School Di- in regulation and exhibition drill. Richard also received first place in individual drill compe-- . tion over 64 other cadets. Cadet Dana Lyons commanded the Element team which received first place in exhibition drill and second place in regulation drill.
