The nice thing about soccer practice is it can be as much fun as playing a game. ; There are' other aspects of the game that give it universal appeal. The rules are simple, and little equipment is needed. All that is necessary is a level field, and a a pair of shorts, a ball. Even shoes are optional as a lot of fun can be had playing soccer barefoot at the beach. In addition, and even more important, the game provides healthy, strenuous exercise with very little chance for serious injury. For this reason the military academies have used it for ditioning and coordination train-in- g irt . 1 for years. ,, Soccer has grown at a fantastic rate in U tah over the last ten years.
