help Six County Mental Health is controlled by a board of commissioners from each county In the past few months the Sheriffs and commissioners and hav e been working on the problem and it looks like a resolution may be close Referring to the proposal Sheriff Phillips said that his approach on this and to which the other sheriffs agree is that if Mental lealth can hire a new person out of their own budget or if someone wants to find it he will utilize it but does not feel it is cost effective for the few times a year he need would use it The local memberof Six County Mental Health is Steve Draper who is highly cooperative and is working hard to resolve the problem Through his efforts some is made progress being Sheriff Phillips said he hopes this will be decided within the next month that the services previously given will be livered with the existing budget or using the $24000 offered for a new employee to pay overtime stations with existing workers to do the jobs they are about 350 million more luminous than our of 430 light years from us This star is howev er only 830 times our Sun Alpha Hercuhs Sun hich literally giv es it a mean density of 0 000000 that of it a constellation of Hercules is the Great in the Globular Cluster MI3(NGC6205) This is the finest star cluster of its type It Northern Hemisphere and one of the most spectacular telescopic objects in the sky in 1715 hav ing been discovered the prev tous ear by was first mentioned by Halley Charles Messier who was cataloging deep space objects at the time It is through him that even to this day we still designate ”M" objects as prev iously noted M 13 can be seen as and can a hazy patch of light with the naked eyes on a clear moonless night ith a telescope in the aperture range of four easily he found with even small binoculars to six inches the stars resolve themselves into a myriad ot white gems closely knitted w ill resolve or together like a swarm of bees Telescopes uh ten inches more in aperture thousands of stars increasing in number as aperture increases Fven to this day the world's largest telescopes have not been able to resolve this globular cluster to the core Ml 3 is about 21000 light years from us and is about 200 light years in diameter 100 light years It has been estimated although the main concentration of stars is within that over one million stars populate this area as shown in the photograph below The and MI3 diagram to the left should aid you in locating both Hercules For those of you that may need a planisphere to locate the various constellations they
