ticipaling Nathan Stefanoff in the judging Melissa Lyman ranked among the of 52 contestants who compete J top ten in the Style Dress Review She received a blue ribbon and special recognition for the most creative clothing article The team of Rrady Carter Jamie Stanworlh Jeff Stanworih and Mike Wankier took 1st place in rifle shooting with Mike Wankicr named as high point shooter in rifle shooting That same team ranked 2nd all around shooting sports and 3rd Each of in Nth archery and shotguns the team members received individual blue ribbons Alan Barkdull Lucy Barkdull Thane Bennett and Brett Bunker also participated m shixiting sports from which Brett Bunker ceived a blue ribbon Lisa Ramhurst Sara Daughters Reth Hulin and Heather Nicholls competed in horse judging Thane Bennett received a Parkinson Stanworth Jim Stevens and Dave Wankicr NOTICE OF TAX INCREASE The Millard County has proposed to increase in its property tax revenue from $6512861 to $7403797 or 137 and to increase its total budget from $10599212 to $15135004 or 4279 The proposed increase in property tax revenues will come from the following sources: (a) $686287 of the proposed increase will come from an increase in the property tax rate from 002566 to 003107 and (b) $204649 of the proposed increase will come from natural increases in the value of the tax base due to new growth A home valued at $75000 in Millard County which based on last year's property tax rate and budget paid $12844 in property taxes would pay the following: (1) $13914 if Millard County does not budget an increase in property tax revenue exclusive of new growth and (2) $15607 if the proposed increase in proposed property tax revenues exclusive of new growth is adopted concerned citizens are invited to a public to on tax on August INCREASE The Millard County School District has proposed to increase its property tax revenue from $16188240 to $16723530 or 33 and to DECREASE its total budget from $23787346 to $20542277 or 1364 The proposed increase in property tax revenues will come from the following sources: (a) $28759 of the proposed increase will come from an increase in the property tax rate from 006378 to 0006978 and (b) $506531 of the proposed increase will come from natural increases in the value of the tax base due to NEW GROWTH A home valued at $75000 in MILLARD COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT which based on last year's property tax rate and budget paid $31925 in property taxes would pay the following: $33891 if MILLARD COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT does not budget an increase in property tax revenue exclusive of new growth
