This is to give a big thank you everyone who came and gave “A Gift of Life” There were many volunteers who helped make this a possibility Thank you to each of you for volunteering to telephone and invite people in the communities to donate and for helping at the Palomar by taking blood pressures and performing other tasks Thank you to everyone for your efforts The Blood Drive for Delta and all the communities in West Millard County occurs every 6 months so everyone able to donate blood will have another opportunity around April llr A S' ' h ZU C jDelta City library Newsj 'A f'-- Front row: Bertha Owens Mary Henrie Maruine Campbell Cleo Eliason Lilac Holman Merilyn Stoddard Rayda Rawlinson back row Harriet Eliason Beverly Eliason Moody Laurel Johnson Norma Adams Tenna Johnson Flora Wood Marilyn Church Frances Whicker Roland Murdock Louise Elaine Lyman Fine Arts Club news The gardens of Ruth Hansen Roland Murdock and June Lovell were visited as part of the annual fall garden tour of the Fine Arts Club members and guests Louise Lyman directed the tour Other president beautiful flower beds and gardens throughout the area were pointed out for their special features Mrs Lyman said “Delta’s public SANDS APRTMENTS buildings and many of the businesses have made great improvement in the appearance of our town If you take a tour and notice these things let’s go one step further and say something nice to those people who are responsible for these things we all enjoy” Club members plan to assist with beautification projects on their own Vicky Jones Mary Bassett Oct 18 a group of Bee Hive girls brought me a fruit basket for the ladies They also sang songs Thank you Lori Jones Alicia Wilson Sherilyn Wilson Linda Sarah Myers Kathy Knight Payne and leader Jane Knight Mrs Mary Libby has been suffering with leg pain She spent a few days in the hospital but is home now and feeling better A week ago Savilla and Brown Sanford from Panguitch came to the Sands to visit their brother Bert Sanford Enid Bunker is leaving to spend vacation with her two daughters Janet Clark and Paulene Dykhuizen and families and son Bob Bunker all in the Salt Lake area I was happy to get better acquainted with the NS Bassett family Arietta Herron left the Sands this week to visit up north with family Mrs Lillian Taylor is going to Salt Lake with her They will visit cousins Marvin L Greener has had the flu Get well soon!
