brief them on schedul'd public scoping workshops on electronics a proposed new testing range to be built in the areas they represent Moody said he received a letter from the Air Force dated Oct 25 that read in part “the Air Force proposes to upgrade the UTTR (Utah Test and Training Range) mission to include a dedicated range which integrates electronic combat systems to support the various tests and evaluations of the isting and future combat weapons systems” Exact site is to be determined “They did indicate that they were looking at three different valleys out there” Moody said "They are looking at Snake Valley Tule Valley and Whirlwind Valley I asked if they were going to use all of them and they said no they would just use one And I thought gosh it wouldn't be the thir g to do to go out into Snake Valley because you have a lot of people out there and there isn’t anybody in Tule Valley They indicated that would probably be the way it would go” The areas are all in West Millard “The one that they choose County I’m sure there’ll be some sort of access restrictions' Moody said Level of possible restrictions is not known The new range will not involve ex“In their
