would like to give to the commissioners now is a good time to do that Not next March but now” Millard County Commissioner Warren Jensen said he opposed the option of dropping Millard’s payment to $180 per capita because “that would have wrecked the District because there wouldn’t have been enough money then to meet the state match so the state would have dropped back some of their funding and that would have been about a $100000 loss there” Jensen said three jobs would have been lost and torn federal matching fuTfuing would also have been sacrificed “It got to be a real complicated he said thing” At the Oct 26 six county meeting the Central Board adopted a new compromise plan Jensen introduced “The counties are now for the first time in 10 years paying their fair shares” he said “Effective the first of January 1989 we will go to full funding by everybody the $330 per capita and that all the bygones be bygones and everything else be forgiven and no hard feelings” Jensen said “and the motion passed unanimously” In addition Jensen said an earlier source of contention was removed by taking school nursing programs “out of the loop with the county” He said the equity plan
