My how happy we were We all sat down to dinner with the feeling of what a blessing it was being together Louise again Lyman was present also The Larsons live in Bountiful Utah They returned home that night Firday November 27 my oldest son William Lynn and family from California came in and spent the afternoon with me Edwina his wife Laurie Tolman from West Goshen Utah another daughter Jennifer Clayton a son drove in to visit with us all afternoon My how happy I really am to have had them with Laurie’s small sons Joshua and Benjamin together making a really Thanksgiving week Elder David Bassett a missionary in Chicago Illinois has just been made a supervising elder He sent me a nice letter for Thanksgiving greetings Ouf son Kay called on the telephone and sent greetings to us all Our children and their children are all meeting in South Garden at Laurie’s home this Saturday afternoon They will have a special time together at the Travis Tolman home They will return home tonight A Chrismtas tree decorating at the Sands will take place on Dec 2 1987 The Delta Third Ward young people are bringing the original decorations and they will add beauty and color to the Christams tree They will serve punch and cookies and sing carols and it will make a very special time for us at the Sands We thank them for their and kindness thoughtfulness a The Sunshine Generation children’s performing group is coming to the Sands to wish us a Merry 10 1987 Christmas on Thursday Dec at 6:30 pm Another singing group will be at the Sands also on Dec 10 1987 at 10 am by Pat Truite group Mrs Quetta Morrow had another visit from her husband’s son Randy and Nancy Morrow for a very short visit but a welcomed one this past week They drove up from Las Vegas and back in one day It was surely Salt Lake City to Albert and Ida Yergensen Robison He married Evelyn Western on November 23 1934 in Salt Lake City The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple Max’s early childhood was spent in the Fillmore and Flowell area He attended Millard High School and later worked for Utah Oil Co in St George and Cedar City In 1941 he moved to Delta when he took over as distributor for the Utah Oil Refining Co (later Amoco Oil) until his retirement in 1971 Max Robison served as City Councilman for eight years and as Mayor of Delta for four years He was instrumental in getting highways 50 and 6 into the area in the 1950s He served as financial clerk under three different Bishops in the Delta 1st Ward he was a member of the Delta Lions Club and a member of the Delta Junior Chamber of
