reception was held at the Kanosh LDS Chapel on Nov 21 1987 in honor of Saturday newlyweds Daniel Ashton of Kanosh and his new bride Lisa Tippetts of Payson Utah They were sealed in the Provo Temple on Friday Nov 20 1987 and were honored at a reception held that evening at the LDS Chapel in Payson Blanche and Olaf George attended the Utah State Farm Bureau Convention in Salt Lake City from Nov Those attending the BYU football game in Provo on Nov 21 really pricked up their ears when they heard the announcement that Richard (RL) George’s name had been inducted into Athletic Hall of Fame the BY'U especially those from Kanosh and this area were thrilled and excited Con- RL gratulations Tragic accidents brought sadness into some Kanosh families during the Thanksgiving holidays Our sympathy goes out to Henry and Neda Davis in the death of their son Ronnie who couldn’t quite make it back to Kanosh from the foothills where his automobile became stuck in the snow so started walking toward home and was found in the early morning hours frozen to death Funeral services were held at the Kanosh Ward Chapel on Monday Nov 30 at 11 am We also extend our sympathy to Lynn and Terry Perkins in the tragic death of her cousin Amy Helmuth of Hudson Michigan who was killed m an automobile accident She and her husband Fritz were married this past September so were newlyweds Terry and Lynn with their young son Kevin boarded a plane to fly to Hudson Michigan to attend Amy’s funeral services on Tuesday Dec I 1987 This Thanksgiving holiday was an extra special occasion for Nora Price who was a dinner
