visit was especially good because they had not seen each other for several years Archie and Eddys Barben and Jensen traveled to Richfield on Sunday where they attended church in the Richfield 2nd Ward to hear the mission report of President and Mrs LaMont Bennett who have just returned from a 3 year mission in Little Rock AK as 25 former misMission President sionaries from the Little Rock Mission were in attendance to honor the Bennetts and welcome them home and they sang the mission song together during the meeting Miss Vilinda Jensen also sang a solo and in a duet with another missionary A very large crowd was in attendance Mrs Bennett’s mother Mrs Elda Manning of Cedar City was also on hand at the meeting And at the home of Mrs Lee Bennett where a social and luncheon was enjoyed by a very large crowd after the meeting Many family members as well as friends and parents of many of the returned missionaries attended also Visiting at the home of Mrs Goldie Miller on Thursday were two Eddys Barben They also attended the viewing for Keith Ross at the mortuary Mollie and Wayne Gonder enjoy their summers in their nice trailer in the Garin the beautiful mountains rison area and in the winter they fly to Calif to spend the colder months with Dr and Mrs Lila their daughter Faber They are enjoying good health and their family Mrs Betty Ogden and son Bradley and daughter Candace visited in Delta Saturday with Mrs Goldie Miller They are relatives of Goldie so they come to Delta to get some good Delta raised corn Jay Bunker and Lenore McCall traveled to Reno NV recently to attend the baptism services for their grandMelissa Hill daughter of daughter Mrs Art Hill (Anita McCall) Miss Courtney West another granddaughter of the Bunkers played a musical number on the Viola during the baptismal ceremony and church service while Lenore McCall accompanied her on the piano After the church service a birthday dinner was served in honor at the home of Art and of Melissa Anita Hill in Reno The Bunkers and Lenore McCall enjoyed the celebration with their family very much The next day Mrs Jay Bunker in their car and the Bud West family traveled to Sun River OR along the Deschutes River where the Bunkers were guests of the West family for ten beautiful days of vacation sencery etc They enjoyed a white river raft trip and enjoyed a fun trip to the Lava River Cave and live museum where they enjoyed many kinds of animals and birds and learned much of their habits and life On their way home they visited in Malta ID with Mrs Jay Cottle (Julean Bunker) and with Mrs Sherman Doyle in Orem Utah with Jim West in Spanish Fork and with Jay Bunker’s in Mona It wa a most granddaughter beautiful trip scenery and a great vacation with their family They extend takmany
