Show mem By Esther Robinson came from Moab to visit for a week and their daughter and Rhea Dean and George Stephenson of Holden enjoyed visiting the family Bruce returned members to Salt Lake leaving his wife here for a longer visit LaVon and Allen and Danny children of Gunnison spent Saturday with his parents Dean and Shirley Allen and brother Brad They visited Grandma Ruth Allen Orem from to spend Coming and Sunday with her Saturday Ruth Allen mother was Garice Hurd and husband Royal and children Michael Michelle and Connie Saturday evening the Hurd’s son and Richard and Sue Hurd and four children were Guests of Grandma Ruth On Sunday they all ehjoyed dinner at Ruth’s along with Dean and Shirley and Brad Allen The delicious dinner was prepared by Ruth Shirley and Garice Mr and Mrs Grant Robinson went to Salt Lake City Sunday to take her 1 Virgie Ivle Kevin and Marlene Christensen are the very happy parents of a 6 lbs 4 oz baby boy born Oct 2 at the Fillmore Hospital The little fellow has two brothers and three sisters who are delighted to have a little brother to help care for Grandparents are Arthur and Beth Allen and Archie and Shirley Christensen all of Flowell and are Mr and Mrs Earl Despain of Lovell Wyoming Howard Tomkinson came from his home in Salt Lake City Sept 30 to get his parents Melville and Nona Tomkinson to spend a week with him and his wife Gayla in the City Some of Howard and Gayla’s married children live in the Salt Lake area and will enjoy visiting with their Tomkinson grandparents Mr and Mrs Joseph L Robinson have had visits from several family members Their daughter Betty and husband Bruce Nibley of Salt Lake City and Joe’s sister and Louise and Sam Neff of Sandy visited for a day The Neffs also visited with their niece Ruthmary Brower The Robinsons’ mother Laura Atha to her home in the City Laura has spent the past month here with Grant and Arleen and their son Bart She had the misfortune to break her hip and has been here with her children so they could care for her She will stay with her son Bud Peck and his wife for awhile until she is able to be in her own home and care for herself Delial and Virgie Ivie have had their days this past week made ehjoyable by visits from friends and relatives Gayton Williams came Sept 28 On Oct Arthella Taylor spent some nice some time very showing had Diana pictures her daughter Kanosh Kapers 759 2692 By Dathel Whitaker Lola Roberts her accompanied husband Jack to Price where they attended the going away party at the Country Club on Sept 29 for Jack’s boss Brett Harvey who is being transferred to Raton New Mexico as a boss at the mine there He was Jack’s boss for three years Jack began working at the Kaiser Steel Coal Mine at Sunny Side in June 1973 over 11 years His wife Lola reports that he hasn’t missed coming home each weekend during this time which adds up to many miles of traveling for him Jack helped Lola celebrate her birthday on Sept 30 Jack and Lola’s son Jack is living over at Delta now where he is employed as a sheetmetal worker at 1PP He and two of the Mooney brothers sons of Mr and Mrs Clay Mooney former residents of Kanosh are a forming Building Construction Co at Delta Lee George and wife Amy from Roseville Calif picked up his mother Lula George in Kanosh and they drove to Ferron where they attended funeral services for George Peterson 51 son of Bertha George taken of Arthella’s birthday party Her three daughters arranged the party They and their husbands and most of their children and grandchildren attended Arthell’s daughter Karen and husband Dewey Olds of Mass were unable to attend but their two daughters and a son their all from the spouses and children Provo area joined in the festivities This was a memorable day for included which Arthella three beautifully decorated birthday cakes his On Oct 6 Allen Williams Rick father Gayton and cousin Williams came to visit Uncle Delial and Aunt Virgie and help with a big job the Ivies needed help with Want to know more about the new “smart” business phones but don’t know whom to ask?
