Paul Andersen, director of Dixie Col- BE Dixie 'Academy Awards The Annual Theatre Award Banquet was hosted Wednesday, May 22, by the Dixie College Theatre Department and Delta Psi Omega Drama Fraternity in the Sun Room of the Student Union. This annual affair resembles the Academy Awards and Tony Awards ceremonies in that a Theatre Council composed of theatre patrons, students, and participants selects nominees for awards in acting and technical theatre. This year the awards nominees were: Best Don Overall Per- formance Duncanson, King Arthur; Jon Turner, Mr. Manningham; Danna Last, Mrs. and Rick Van Manningham; Best Eddie Schellenbach. Noy, Actor - Don Duncanson, King Arthur; Rick Van Noy, Eddie Mike Schmitt, Schellenbach; the Miser; Joe Heaton, Howay LaRue; Jon Turner, Mr. Man Immediately following ningham; and Steve Beckstead, Newton Fuller.
