Show 20 The Dixie Owl, St. George, Utah Dixie School, that is I heard Fye say so, and I guess it must be true. So when anybody asks me if Im a Freshie I says right out nope, Im a Senior thru and thru. Well! its one oclock, and Mr. Nicholes says the Fourth years need lots of sleep so guess Ill git to bed early tonit. Yours most always, Bill. JUNIORS And if you dont believe me, and think I tell a lie, just carefully inspect the students, and youll see the same as I. The class of 21 is the most energetic, and brilliant class that ever paced the halls of a school. Freshies, Sophomores, and Seniors will be content to serenely sit in the cool and refreshing shade, at the bottom of Mt. Success, and watch with envy, the Juniors, as they steadily ascend to the summit. Our officers, elected at our first class meeting, are as Millie follows: Karl Snow, Pendleton, Mother; Louie Father; Dolph Lund, President; Harris, Vice President; El Roy Jones, Secretary and Treasurer; Keith. Seeg-mille- r, Debating Manager; Rulon Snow, Athletic Manager; Irvin Milne, Leona Stucki and Charles Dodson, Amusement Committee; and Fay Hall, Cheer Master. From their verandas, other students enviously viewed the Juniors as they rushed up to the Sugar Loaf, at the appointed hour, with marshmallows under arm and gayety under hats. The party was a great success. The lively games, toasted marshmallows, and pathetic demonstrations of Robert Bunting, were a full recompense for the energy expended in climbing up the steps to the Sugar Loaf. In the basket ball series the Juniors won the following games: Juniors vs Seniors; Juniors vs College; Juniors vs Faculty. Watch for the Juniors dance! |
